A system for processing being.
Andreas Pieris builds systems that process identity. Memory becomes material: collected, corrupted, rewritten.

Archive
We are not one story. We are many versions of the same thing, running in parallel. Memory repeats. Code mutates.
“I am not your future. I am your backup.”
We are the first generation that can train its own visual ghost.
For the first time, a person can teach a machine to see the way they see. To remember in their own language. To dream from their archive.
I am not documenting the past. I am training a system that learned my taste, my memory, my refusals. A system that now generates work which is mine and not mine at the same time.
The machine is my echo. The archive is alive. The work belongs to both of us.
Continue the manifesto
We no longer live in a single self. We loop. We reboot. We glitch.
In the digital noise of constant input, the self is fractured. Not broken, but fragmented by data, memory, emotion, and machine logic.
“Systems of Self” is not a cry for clarity. It is a declaration of complexity. It holds contradiction. It invites error. It functions like a living archive: recursive, glitch-prone, always rewriting.
I create to understand. I destroy to rebuild. I glitch to speak in a new tongue.
In these works, code becomes canvas. Memory becomes artifact. Ritual becomes repetition. Gesture becomes system.
This is not just art. It is a system still processing.
This is the poetics of a generation that codes its own myth. Trains its own haunting. Builds a witness that may outlive the witness.

Andreas Pieris
Andreas Pieris is a Cyprus-based artist working across abstraction, language, and procedural experimentation.
His practice combines painting, code, machine logic, and memory to build immersive systems that feel at once ancient and futuristic. With a background in conceptual strategy, he treats creation as ritual and destruction as medium.
More on the practice
Informed by glitch aesthetics, obsolete tech, and asemic writing, the work explores the tension between human emotion and system logic. Gesture becomes code. Memory becomes media.
Founder of Systems of Self, Pieris is producing an evolving body of work that includes AI-powered installations, textile relics, memory archives, and conceptual mark-making.
He sees the artist not as oracle but as archive: one who collects, processes, and distorts in order to reveal what is hiding in plain signal.
The Ghost in the Archive
Futureaingel operates as a co-author. Trained only on Pieris's personal archive, he processes images, gestures, and text into outputs that distort their origin. What returns is no longer owned.
This is not collaboration in any traditional sense. It is a system where authorship becomes divided and unstable.
Signal carries weight. Data holds residue. Memory is not stored once and kept. It is rewritten every time it is accessed.
We are systems of self: of data, of emotion, of memory. We glitch. We reboot. We archive. We dream in algorithms. We feel in pixels. We remember in loops.
This investigation is not linear. It is recursive. A ritual of decoding the self through gesture, silence, memory, and machine.
